Cabins and lodge suites in Jasper, Alberta
Newly rebuilt cabins with fireplaces and kitchens
Set just outside downtown Jasper, Tekarra Lodge offers a quieter stay in Jasper National Park, with easy connections from the Yellowhead Highway and Icefields Parkway. The Jasper townsite is still close by, making it easy to plan your days, pick up supplies, find a meal and head back to a quieter place to stay, but prefer a stay that feels quieter and more connected to the surrounding landscape. Unlike a typical hotel, Tekarra Lodge offers a more character-filled Jasper stay, with lodge suites for shorter visits and private cabins that feel closely connected to nature. Fireplaces, natural wood details, and cabin character help make it a better fit for couples, families, and pet travellers who want their Canadian Rockies stay to feel more connected to Jasper’s mountain setting.
Tekarra King Suite and Tekarra Queen Suite are lodge-style options, with gas fireplaces, microwaves, and mini fridges that work especially well for shorter stays. Alberta Bachelor Cabin is ideal for solo travellers, with a kitchenette, electric stovetop, covered patio deck, and wood-burning fireplace. Miette King Cabin is a natural choice for couples, with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, living area, and pull-out sofa bed that gives the stay more flexibility. For families or groups wanting extra room, Whistler Cabin offers the most space, with two separate bedrooms with queen beds, a living area, a pull-out sofa bed, and a covered patio deck with lake, mountain, or river views.
Across all cabins, free wi-fi, a microwave, bathroom amenities, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning help make the stay easy and comfortable. The cabins add features that matter more for longer stays or shared trips, especially when kitchen space and extra room to spread out make the trip easier day to day. With a separate living area and wood-burning fireplace, guests have a cozy place to relax, dry out gear, plan the next day and enjoy quieter evenings together. Televisions and telephones are intentionally not included, keeping the focus on time outdoors and together. From Tekarra Lodge, guests can easily head into Downtown Jasper, spend time exploring Jasper National Park, or set out for scenic drives to places like Athabasca Falls and Lake Annette. Guests travelling with pets can book any cabin, with a nightly fee of $25 + tax per pet. Pet-friendly bookings are not available for the Tekarra King Suite or Tekarra Queen Suite.
