Spring Giveaway

Sponsor

The sponsor of the Spring Giveaway Contest (“Contest”), with Laid Back Snacks & Tekarra Restaurant, is Tekarra Lodge. Tekarra Lodge is located at Highway 93A South, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are at least 21 years of age.

You are not eligible to win, if you are a) an employee of Tekarra Lodge, Laid Back Snacks or Tekarra Restaurant, or any of the respective affiliates and related hotels, companies, advertising or promotional agencies, or any of the respective affiliates or related companies, advertising or promotional agencies; b) a member of the immediate family (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouse, regardless of where they live) or household (whether related or not) of any of the above persons.

How To Enter

Entry must be completed on Instagram, using a public Instagram account.

The contest will be posted on the Tekarra Lodge Instagram account, using a public post, on April 4, 2021. To enter individuals must:

  1. Like the identified post, share it to their own Instagram story and tag @tekarralodge
  2. Follow: @tekarralodge, @laidbacksnacks, @tekarrarestaurant and @rockymountainsoapco

One entry per person

Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:00p.m. (Mountain Time) on the 4th of April 2021 and closes at 12:00p.m. (Mountain Time) on 17 April 2021 (the “Contest Period”). Only entries submitted in the Contest Period will be considered.

Prize Details

One prize is available, and includes:

  • Two-night stay in a cozy cabin for two (May-Oct 2021), based upon availability
  • A Charcuterie Board & bottle of wine upon arrival & breakfast for two on one morning of your stay @tekarrarestaurant
  • A huge tasty bundle of healthy snacks to enjoy during your stay, provided by @laidbacksnacks
  • $250 worth of products from @therockymountainsoapco

Winner Selection

Starting April 17, 2021, contest entries will be reviewed and one winner will be selected using an online random selection tool (https://www.randomresult.com/num.php). The Prize Winner's entry will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. Should the Prize Winner meet all eligibility, they will be asked to contact Tekarra Lodge, and they will have seven (7) days to respond indicating acceptance of the prize. Should the Prize Winner not meet eligibility, or not respond within seven (7) days, a new winner will be selected using the online random selection tool. This process will continue until a Prize Winner confirms acceptance of the prize. Prizes must be accepted as presented. Prizes are non-transferrable.

To be declared a winner of any Prize, a selected entrant must first correctly answer, a skill-testing question (on the entry form or by phone or email or mail) without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise.

To claim their prize the Prize Winner must sign a release (see Releases).

Odds of Winning

Odds of winning are based upon total number of entries within the Contest Period.

Disqualification

Tekarra Lodge reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant(s) who:

  1. Is unwilling to sign the confirmation of prize issuance and release document
  2. Tampers with, or attempts to tamper with, the entry process or the operation of the Contest
  3. For any reason is unable or does not wish to accept the prize as awarded
  4. Is not eligible by law

Releases

Before being declared a Prize winner, a selected entrant will be required to sign a Declaration of Compliance and a Release of Liability form, releasing the Sponsor, and each of their respective partners and advertising & promotional agencies, any Promotion judging organization, parent companies and affiliates, Prize Suppliers, of the foregoing and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability in connection with this Contest or the Prize. The Releasees will also not be held liable for any typographical or other errors in the offer in the other or administration of this Promotion, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Contest Rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any Prize. The Releasees (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iii) are not liable for injury loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance, use or misuse of any Prize, travel related thereto, or otherwise from participation in this Promotion. Should a Prize Winner bring a guest for the hotel stay, the Prize Winner’s guest must also sign and return a Declaration and Release of Liability form. The Declaration of Compliance and Release of Liability documents for both the Prize Winner and his/her guest must be returned within the time period indicated in the documents or the Prize will be forfeited. The name of guest cannot be changed once the guest’s Declaration and Release of Liability form has been received by Sponsor or its agent.

Personal Information

By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion. By accepting the Prize, winners consent to the collection, use and disclosure to the public of their names, addresses (city, province/territory or state), voices, statements and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion and the Events in any media or formats, including but not limited to the Internet, without further notice, permission, or compensation. Personal information will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent.

Miscellaneous

Entrants who have not complied with these Official Rules and Regulations for the Contest are subject to disqualification from this Contest. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equivalent monetary value if a Prize, or any part of a Prize, cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Sponsors will not be responsible, however, if weather conditions or other factors beyond Sponsor’s control prevent Prizes or any part of a Prize from being fulfilled. In any such event, a winner will not be provided with a substitute Prize or cash equivalent. Prizes will only be released to the verified winners. If any activity relating to any Prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the balance of the Prize may be awarded in full satisfaction of the Prize award. All decisions of the Sponsor, or any Promotion judging organization designated by Sponsor, are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
